I attended a seminar early this year which had the theme "sustainable thinking". Basically the talk was in a story tell form and the narrative at the end of the seminar made more sense of what saving the environment means. But well, what can be a possible connection between the environment and diseases? This question pierced sharply into my mind after observing a lot of evidences that climate change has brought. There are a lot of issues that my government stresses about. AIDS is one among them. So what ideal approach can be taken to help settle both matters at once? One could have numerous answers on this question including me. But this is what I came up with "Environmental Influence on HIV conscience and hope for Tanzanians". Addressing two issues in one context can help in a different kind of way.
The environment that surrounds people in Tanzania could be used as a way to educate people on HIV awareness and ways to fight AIDS. An environmental initiative or a reform to be part of the community can really en light people on HIV on environmental grounds. Essentially if pressure and focus is put on establishing environmental friendly non-profit cooperation, not only forming it, but this foundation must have AIDS aiding theme, for Instance "Environment for all". The main focus of the foundation should be HIV infected victims and AIDS consciousness. This intellectual bubble will form part and be vital community outreach in one or so towns across the country.
Viewing this approach from the other side, people will have more to do and less enticement instead have a workforce contribution to the environmental scheme designed. Planting trees, training, recovering depleted valleys and forests are some of the long list of activities that the established centre will be running.
This is just a brief of the complex environmental AIDS machinery scheme. This model has a chance to be studied and every detail be keyed out for a successful future HIV free generation. There is a tendency of the mind to want to achieve certain aspirations when there is an input of new knowledge to it. This initiative will keep people's minds to work. That small part of the brain having new responsiveness on environment sustainability and living sustainable will probably replace that brain's emptiness, the emptiness that is vulnerable to temptations and thoughts which might lead to committing actions leading to acquiring HIV AIDS.
